We refer to our announcement dated 27 February 2017 and 28 February 2017 in relation to the agreement made between Knusford Berhad (“KB”) with Arthaland Corporation (“Arthaland”) and China Railway Dongfang Group Sdn Bhd ("CREC") dated 26 February 2017 for the purpose of undertaking an engineering, procurement and construction (“EPC”) contract on Arthaland’s Cebu Exchange Project (“Project”), located in Cebu, Philippines. The Board of Directors of KB wishes to update that as of to-date the parties were unable to reach on a mutually agreed terms and conditions for the EPC contract. The Company has on 20 December 2017 received a letter from Arthaland not to engage KB and CREC as the EPC contractor for the Project. |
